Comments: Theosophist ; anti-vivisection; vegetarian ; women's rights/ suffragette; Buddhism ; Gnostic; Rosicrucian; Anna Kingsford may have been the model for "Anna Sprengel", whose magical motto was "Soror Sapiens Dominabitur Astris" , the German adept who chartered the Golden Dawn for Westcott before dying mysteriously. Her last published work, 1886, included the motto on the cover of a Valentin Weigel translation, " Sapiens dominabitur Asir" aka the Wise Rule their Stars; believed 1881 the beginning of the "Age of Michael"; believed she was guided by Emanuel Swedenborg, in writing The Perfect Way in trance from 1877 to 1880;
