Captain F.G. Irwin AKA Francis George Irwin

Comments: alchemy; Rosicrucian; scrying in mirrors; Freemason; uses a crystal to scry to contact Cagliostro to gain information about the Fratres Lucis. These scrying experiments take place in 1872-73, along the lines of Frederick Hockley's experiments, whose notes he copies despite promising never to do so; Creator of Masonic Rites;
