Dianetics was duly launched in Astounding Science Fiction magazine, May 1950 issue. He was expelled when he and the Lodge master's current girlfriend ( Sara "Betty" Northrup) took Parsons' yacht without permission and wretched it; Parsons and Hubbard collaborated on the "Babalon Working", a sex magic ritual intended to summon an incarnation of Babalon, February and March 1946; she appeared as Marjorie Cameron Parsons; 1946, Hubbard bigamously married Sara, while still married to Polly; Human souls actually immortal thetans (aliens) who live for billions of years; quoted as telling a science fiction convention in 1948: "Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion."; created the Guardian's Office (GO) in 1966 to break into government and private companies to remove Scientology files, and he managed to stay free, but his wife Mary Sue went to Federal Prison; lived for a time on a boat, the Apollo, at sea, then as a fugitive for a few years in the USA, unbothered by authorities;
