The Book Of Little Triggers
The BOOK OF LITTLE TRIGGERS is actually a collection of index
cards I started in the 1970s to collect both quotes from various sources
and my own thoughts to which I had an "AHA!" experience. I still add to
it, and take it out for inspiration and meditation. I have attributed
the work of others, and positioned it after my own entries. Thanks to
all who inspired me, especially Miron Murcury , Robert Anton Wilson, Dr.
Tim Leary and Dr. John Lilly. If any of the old members of The Network
(Ted Schulz?) read this, thanks for linking us all up!

Sometimes life is intensely interesting and
meaningful, and this meaning seems to be an objective fact, like
sunlight. At other times it's as meaningless as the wind. We accept
their eclipse of meaning (unfortunately). Sex gives us a glimpse of a
concentration of mind that would make us God-like if we could command it
in other spheres. Human life is dream-like because most human beings
exist passively. Their consciousness is little more than a reflection of
their environment. Nothing is worth possessing except this intensity of
consciousness. Only in moments of relaxation do we achieve a state where
consciousness is at once fully awake and yet unfocused.

Definition: Magick is the science and art of
causing change to occur in conformity to will. Postulate: Any required
change may be effected by the application of the proper kind and amount
of force in the proper manner through the proper channel to the proper
object. So, 1) every intentional act is a m,agickal act. 2) every
successful act has conformed to the Postulate. 3) Every failure proves
that one or more of the elements of the Postulate have not been
fulfilled. 4) The first requisite for causing (specific) change is
a thorough understanding of the situation. 5) The second requisite for
causing any change is the practical ability to set in right motion the
necessary forces. -
Aleister Crowley
